PostSubject: Making time for ourselves   8/10/2009, 2:14 pm

Sometimes we find ourselves mixed up in our daily routines...day in and day out. Work, kids, errands, cooking, cleaning, etc. And sometimes there will come a time when we realize that we have not had any time to ourselves. And we find that we are very tired, and run down emotional, mentally, physically, and spiritually.

If we can find just five to ten minutes a day. Perhaps it could be in the morning on our way to work, by just leaving a few minutes early to sit in the parking lot & meditate on our day. Or maybe instead of taking a shower we can take a bath to allow the time to reflect on ourselves. Or perhaps skip doing the dishes this evening to sit on the front porch for a few minutes to watch the kids play and enjoy those blessings. Or maybe instead of going to the gym, we can take a walk or jog down the street and enjoy nature at it's best.

There are many things that we can do to allow ourselves the time to reflect on our life, rest our bodies a little, and even live in the moment. Find ways to rearrage your life to include those extra five or ten minutes each day. It's good for the soul!
