PostSubject: Do others frustrate you?   9/29/2014, 3:15 pm

How many times do you think to yourself, or even share with someone about how particular people can be so irritating to you in one way or another? Do you even find that it can often times consume too much of your thoughts to a point where you have missed out on the blessings that take place around you at that moment? And yet, these thoughts or complaints may even be very legitimate, and justified. However, your mind, heart, and even spirit may be completely consumed in such a way that you find you are lacking the ability to live in the moment; as well as see those individuals in a positive light, therefor possibly contributing to that relationship's negative outcome. And many times it can even be our ego, that obnoxious voice in our head that constantly strives for attention, that can be the key to our unhappiness.

So much of life's little and or big frustrations can be lessened just simply by how we respond, and what we allow to rent space in our head. Many of which are actually things that we can do absolutely nothing about. Perhaps it is a loved one's little quirks that bother you, or a stranger's gesture. Of course the stranger you no longer have to deal with, and are much easier to let go of. But the loved one is someone who you value, and love. And by all means if they were gone off this earth, you may wish you had those little things to deal with again, just to have them back in your daily life again. Suddenly, those little frustrations just don't matter anymore.

If you practice letting things go more often, you will find that you are freeing yourself from the things that are needlessly consuming your every thought. Holding you back from the joy that is among you this very moment. Enjoy life's blessings while you have them, cherish each moment, and embrace the joy that comes your way. Focus on the things that bring positive thoughts, and the negative thoughts will be diminished by that love. Only you have the power to control your thoughts, not others. Fulfill your life with all of the wonderful experiences.
