PostSubject: Your New Year Resolution   1/5/2011, 12:14 am

For most of us, it is quite common to have a new year resolution as each year approaches. Because we all like improvements in our life, it is the one time we traditionally make a list of things that we would like to see accomplished, changed, improved, etc. It gives us hope that "this year" will be even better than the last.

But then again, many of us will also allow time to pass us by as we procrastinate in putting our new goals into place. We have one excuse after another. Perhaps it is free time, money, lack of energy, or responsibilities such as children or spouse's needs, and so on. Then before we know it a new year is here again, and some of the goals that were on our list last year is on the new list again.

So if we really want to see any change, we must be willing to make the effort. Making a plan is the first step in getting the ball rolling. Once we know what the plan is, then we must keep putting one foot in front of the other as each step becomes clear to us. And continue to move forward until we accomplish the goal.

So ask yourself...."What is my new year resolution?". Make a list, a plan, and put it into action. Make yourself proud as you start this new year. Live the way you wish to live, be that person, and enjoy every moment of it!
